Description
Deutsch: Von der Gottschedbrücke Richtung Süden, auch diese geringe Stauhöhe hat für den Mühlenbetrieb ausgereicht. Die Thomasmühle stand auf dem Gelände des heutigen Commerzbankgebäudes und produzierte in industriellem Rahmen bis zu einem Bombentreffer am 4. Dezember 1943. Die Baulücke davor entstand erst vor der Fußballweltmeisterschaft 2006 durch den Abbruch des Palais Schlobach, sie wurde erst 2017/18 wieder mit einem Hotelneubau mit historischer Fassade geschlossen.
