| Description |
Deutsch: Kriegsstraßenbahnwagen, die 30 Wagen des Typs A in zweiter Besetzung wurden 1944 bei Fuchs in Heidelberg gebaut, ohne elektrische Ausrüstung nach Wien geliefert und deshalb konnten sie erst nach Kriegsende in Betrieb genommen werden. Die Konstruktion war möglichst einfach und materialsparend, jedoch waren die Wagen für ihre Bauzeit auch dadurch eine neuzeitliche und masssesparende Konstruktion und die ersten Wiener Straßenbahnwagen in Stahlschweißbauart. Im Inneren fällt der geringe Sitzplatzanteil auf. Die Handastangen bestehen aus Stahl, sie wurden für ein angenehmeres Griffgefühl mit Kunststoff umwickelt. Die Türen laufen innen offen, diese Einsparung wurde bei späteren Bauarten rückgängig gemacht. |
