Description

The Victoria was purchased by the Northwest Improvement Company in 1904 and placed on a route from Seattle to Alaska. In 1908, the Northwest Improvement Company merged with the Alaska Steamship Company. The Victoria continue it's Alaska route through 1937 and was responsible for transporting both passengers and cargo from the Alaskan gold fields.
