Description

White paper with typed black text

Mrs. Robert Hamilton Smith 1800 Harris Road Philadelphia 18, Pennsylvania Dear Mrs. Smith: Mr. Wing is in Washington for several weeks on a special assignment and I will endeavor to answer your letter of February 24, 1965. The date of June3, 1965 will be entirely satisfactory for the dedication of the memorial. The hour you prefer can be more definitely set any time. However, it occurs to us that if buses are coming from New York it might be well to have the luncheon at noon and the dedication immediately thereafter. This we will leave entirely to you. The Holiday Inn Restaurant, 516 Baltimore Street in Gettysburg, has adequate space for several hundred persons and we suggest you write to Mr. Ross, Manager. We believe the Gettysburg High School Band would like to take part in your program and we suggest you contact Mr. Moris Quint, Principal. We will be pleased to hear from you as your plans develop. Sincerely yours, S.G. Sollenberger Acting Superintendent
