Norsk bokmål: S-metylcysteinsulfoksid som er en vanlig ikkeproteinogen aminosyre i kålslekta. Det har ikke kjente negative effekter hos mennesket. English: S-methylcysteine sulphoxide witch is a common non proteinic amino acid in the genus Brassica. No negative effects are known i humans. But in ruminants it is decomposed into dimethyl disulfide amongst other chemicals, by the microbes in the rumnen, where dimthyl disulfide are the cause of «cale poisoning». https://pubchem.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/compound/99483
