Description
English: Molding workshop of the manufacture nationale de Sèvres. Making of a rose.
Français : La technicienne, à partir d'une petite pastille de pâte de porcelaine crue et malléable, réalise une rose. On aperçoit l'ébauche du cœur. Elle débute par une petite forme conique qui servira d'assise aux pétales qui viendront s'ajouter au fur et à mesure pour créer la fleur. Chaque réalisation est unique car chaque artisan imprime son style et son savoir-faire. Cette technique, utilisée dès le XVIIIe siècle, appelée pastillage permet la réalisation de décors d'une grande finesse et que l'on ne peut mouler. Pastillage, atelier de moulage-reparage de la manufacture nationale de Sèvres. Fabrication d'une rose.
