Description

Sevres-Lecourbe on the Metro Ligne 6. Viewed from Tour Montparnasse. Getting this shot involved more than just a snapshot from a high place. I wanted to get trains on the Metro tracks to show motion and life. More or less by luck, one train is pulling into Sevres-Lecourbe as another begins to pull out -- I had to wait only a couple of minutes to get the shot I wanted. Choosing the amount of zoom to frame the shot I envisioned also took some thought. I like this shot and am very happy with the way it came out.

I licensed this photo with Creative Commons so that it could also be on Wikipedia.
