Description
Deutsch: Der Neubau der Bank befindet sich in der Leipziger Nordvorstadt. Die rund 20 Meter hohen Säulen stehen über dem Vorplatz und sind im sogenannten Forum verteilt. Sie dienen als Sonnenschutz, zur Entrauchung der Tiefgarage, zur Entwässerung der Dachflächen sowie als gestalterisches Element, erklärt die Pressemitteilung. Gefertigt sind sie aus Schleuderbeton mit einem Durchmesser von bis zu 1,1 Metern und mit Kapitellen bespannt mit Glasfasergewebe.
