Description
English: Sami drum from southern sami area. Frame drum. No 38 in Ernst Manker's Die lappische Zaubertrommel (1938/1950). In Nationalmuseet, Copenhagen since 1883, as an exchange objekt with Naturhistoriska riksmuseet, Stockholm. To Stockholm from Uppsala 1874. Probably, according to Manker, the same drum that was mentioned in a catalogue at Uppsala University Library in 1729.

Author Ernst Manker. Scanning, cleaning up minor imperfections in the reproduction and removing the numbers was made by Tor Gjerde at old.no; Christopher Forster made the PNG images white background transparent using ImageMagick on GNU/Linux.
