Summary
[edit]DescriptionRyeford railway station (site), Gloucestershire (geograph 7016222).jpg |
English: Ryeford railway station (site), Gloucestershire Opened in 1867 by the Stonehouse & Nailsworth Railway, very soon to become part of the Midland Railway, on the line between those two places, this station closed to passengers in 1947 and completely in 1966. View west along the course of the single track railway, towards Stonehouse. The track approximately followed the lane the middle car is in, with the single platform and station building having been to the left of the cars. As can be seen, all trace of it was swept away when the road was built. |
