Description
English: Rusty glacial erratic in Stora Sjöfallet National Park
Français : Toute la péninsule scandinave fut recouverte d'une énorme couche de glace ( inlandsis) à l'époque Quaternaire, dite Glaciaire. Elle a laissé une empreinte sur le relief actuel, dont je ne te donnerai d'autres exemples que celui de "blocs erratiques" dont tu as photographié un exemplaire .Il y en a des millions dans les campagnes suédoises.

Ce sont des blocs arrachés par les glaciers, là où ils passaient . Ils ont des formes, des volumes, des poids, des natures différents. Ils étaient abandonnés sur place lorsque la glace fondait suite à un réchauffement climatique . Je ne sais quelle est la nature de la roche, je vois seulement que la structure est plissée (elle pourrait provenir des Alpes Scandinaves). En résumé, c'est un bloc erratique,, c'est-à-dire, un bloc rocheux transporté par un glacier loin de son gisement naturel et donc, dont la nature est difficile à déterminer, je ne peux te dire que quelle est son origine. Remarques:

Voilà l'explication de la présence de dolmens aux Pays-Bas, érigés par les Néolithiques dans une région où il n'y a ni montagne ni roche, et par une civilisation qui ignorait la roue pour un éventuel transport.- Rien à voir, mais intéressant me semble-t-il. --Yvonne Lens
