Description
Русский: Александр Николаевич Бенуа (1870–1960) — русский художник, историк искусства, художественный критик, основатель и главный идеолог «Мира искусства».

К числу выдающихся произведений Бенуа принадлежат: «Парад при Павле I» (1907, ГРМ), «Выход императрицы Екатерины II в Царскосельском дворце» (1909, Государственная картинная галерея Армении, Ереван), «Петербургская улица при Петре I» (1910, частное собрание в Москве) и «Пётр I на прогулке в Летнем саду» (1910, ГРМ).

На почтовых марках изображены картины Л.С. Бакста «Портрет А.Н. Бенуа» (1898, ГРМ) и А.Н. Бенуа «Парад при Павле I» (1907, ГРМ).
