Description
English: Rukhi fortress in the village of Rukhi is a 17th century fortress with 10-12 metre high walls. The ruler Dadiani of Mingrelia was hiding here during the Ottoman invasion. Ottomans took control of the fort in 1723, and lost control to Georgians in 1770. At the end of the 19th century it lost its function
