Summary

[edit]
Description
English: From source, Photograph of the ruined Vishveshvara Temple at Shendurni, taken by Henry Cousens in the 1880s-90s. Shendurni is a town in Maharashtra. The temple here is small, badly ruined and quite unremarkable apart from a large inscription. The Bombay List of 1897 mentions '...a small ruined temple of Visvesvara or Visdevali. It has an inscription which probably covered about 3 feet by 2 feet of wall surface on the outer wall on the south side, but now too much defaced to make anything of.'
