Description |
English: The remains of a corner of stone walls with a brick chimney and holes where there were windows. This is what remains of a stone house likely constructed by John Allstadt. The exact date of construction is uncertain, but there are suggestions that it was constructed or partially constructed prior to the Civil War Battle of Harpers Ferry. Like other structures on the property, it was already in a ruinous condition at the time that it was acquired by the Department of the Interior in 1991.
