Description
English: Ruins of St. Augustine Church - Situated in Old Goa, the ruins have been included in UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites. The structure of the church was completed by 1602 AD. It is said that,a ban was imposed by the Portuguese government against the Augustines, this caused the desertion of the church and the convent. The structure of church collapsed on 8 September 1842.
