English: Ruins of Monkton Farm The last building left in the former settlement of Monkton (see 341647) is actually still marked on the modern map despite being not being inhabited since the First World War. It is clearly marked on the 1880 map that this was the site of the old farmhouse. It is now cared for by a local trust. |
