English: Ruins of Hubbal Grange A lot of imagination is required here as the ruins of the timber framed building have been taken over by the scrub. This was once the home of Richard Penderell who assisted Charles II in his escape after the Battle of Worcester. This section of the Monarch's Way is walked in both directions as the fugitive prince had to backtrack to avoid capture. |
