English: Ruined enclosure, with ridges [This is one of a series of images showing the landscape encountered on a journey between Murroch Burn and the ruins of Auchenreoch, including several tributaries of the burn.]
The area shown here is covered with ridges. At the bottom of the picture is part of a straight raised mound which runs along the eastern side of this area, and which is probably the grass-covered remnant of a boundary wall; see also: 1063168. This area is indicated on the 1:25000 map as a rectangular enclosure. It is only metres from the ruins of Auchenreoch Farm; although much too small to have been a field in the usual sense of the word, it seems likely to have been a small cultivated plot associated with the farm.
