Description Bilderserie zu OSM-Belegmotiven zum Wartburgkreis. Bildmotiv: Bad Liebenstein, Stadtteil Steinbach, Begehung des Bodendenkmals Obere Schleifkote von David Malsch. Der Talgrund war schon im 18. Jahrhundert eine florierende, arbeitsteilige Gemeinschaft von Handwerkern, Manufakturarbeitern und Kleinbauern. Die noch in den 1970er Jahren als touristische Sehenswürdigkeit vorgezeigte Schleifkote ist aus statischen Gründen eingestürzt. Das Gelände wurde beim Projekt "Der Messerweg zwischen Steinbach und Ruhla" als eine zentrale Station bewertet und mit einem Rastplatz und Infotafel ausgestattet.
