| Description |
English: Rugely Town 1st railway station (site), Staffordshire Opened in 1870 by the London & North Western Railway on the line from Walsall to Rugeley, this station closed in 1965. A new station was opened by British Rail in 1997, immediately behind the camera position. View north east towards the station site, shortly after the railway line was electrified. The two wooden platforms were located between the two concrete blocks to the right of the track, and the bridge parapet beyond them. The two concrete blocks marked the end of two sidings. |
