Deutsch: Ruf gestaltete in den Jahren 1961 bis 1964 sowohl den Universitäts- als auch den Borgiasplatz neu. Der Bau, von einer schwerelosen Transparenz der verglasten Gebäudeteile einerseits und den geschlossenen Bauteilen andererseits geprägt, fügt sich, obwohl der Moderne verpflichtet, ins historische Stadtbild ein, indem es unter der Traufhöhe der umstehenden Gebäude bleibt und sich ihnen gegenüber in der Farbigkeit zurücknimmt. |
