Summary
[edit]DescriptionRuedorfen Farmstead 17th Century 2012-07-20.jpg |
English: The Ruedorfen Farmstead in Ellmau was built in the seventeenth century AD and has remained in its original state ever since. Minor modifications were: a metal roof, electricity (to the right of the entrance) and telecommunications connectivity through the depicted antenna as well as sewerage. It is one of the few remaining log buildings in the area that survived the turmoils of the Napoleonic Wars, when most houses were burned down. The person standing in the door is Elisabeth Erber (*1932), who at the making of the photograph was managing the farm with her two sons. She gave her consent to publication. |

NOTE: This image is a panorama consisting of multiple frames that were merged or stitched in software. As a result, this image necessarily underwent some form of digital manipulation. These manipulations may include blending, blurring, cloning, and colour and perspective adjustments. As a result of these adjustments, the image content may be slightly different from reality at the points where multiple images were combined. This manipulation is often required due to lens, perspective, and parallax distortions.
