Description iconographique:

Rue du haut-pavé, 5ème arrondissement. Vue prise du quai de Montebello vers la place Maubert et le marché des Carmes. Au second plan à gauche, se trouve la rue des Grands-Degrés et à droite, la rue de la Bûcherie. Il s'agit d'un paysage urbain avec la rue en perspective et des immeubles de 3 à 4 étages. On devine différentes boutiques le long de la rue. Au fond, on aperçoit le Panthéon.
