November 1961 ebenda) wirkte von 1906 bis 1925 in der Freien Schulgemeinde in Wickersdorf bei Saalfeld im Thüringer Wald und von 1925 bis 1934 in der Schule am Meer auf der ostfriesischen Nordseeinsel Juist in Preußen, bevor er in die Schweiz zurückkehrte.
English: The Swiss progressive educator Rudolf Aeschlimann (* 1884 in Burgdorf, Canton Bern, Switzerland; † November 13, 1961 ibid.) was working at Freie Schulgemeinde (= Free School Community) in Wickersdorf near Saalfeld in the Thuringian Forest from 1906 to 1925 and from 1925 to 1934 at Schule am Meer on the East Frisian island Juist in Prussia, before returning to Switzerland.
