English: Three rubbings on paper from brass .1 rubbing taken from a brass from St James Church in Draycott Cerne, Wiltshire, England. Depicts male knight in armour and female figure in medieval dress clasping hands, male figure is Edward de Cerne who died in 1393, the female figure is his second wife Elyne de Cerne who died in 1418. Inscribed underneath in Norman French- "Moun Sire Edward Cerne chevalier o Elyne sa femme gist icy- De les queus almes Diex a sa pyte eyt m'ci. Amen". Handwritten in ink above rubbing- "EDWARD CERNE, DRAYCOTTE CERNE. 1393"; handwritten to right of rubbing- "DRAYCOTTE"; below rubbing- "CERNE"; on back of rubbing- "3 BRASS Rubbings - English Church" .2 rubbing taken St Peters Church in Clyffe Pypard, North Wiltshire, England. Depicts male knight in armour, possibly Henry de Cobham. Handwritten above rubbing- "QUINTIN CLYFFE PYPARD, 1380"; handwritten to left of rubbing- "CLYFFE - PYPARD" .3 rubbing taken from a brass from St John the Baptist Church in Tisbury, Wiltshire, England. Depicts a male and female figure at centre in medieval dress; male figure is possibly Lawrence Hyde who died in 1590, the female figure is probably his second wife Anne Sibell; behind the male is a group of 6 boys and behind the female is a group of 4 girls; above each group is a family coat of arms; at top centre is a vulture with a banner in its beak reading- "EVERYE MAN LIVING IN HIS BESTE ESTATE IS - ALTOGETHER - VANITYE"; below image is an inscription in Old English; handwritten above rubbing- "LAWRENCE HYDE, TISBURY. 1590"
