English: Dr. Burger concludes the article by stating that, with the exception of this Khitan inscribed Liao Dynasty numismatic charm, he stated at the time that he is not aware of the existence of any other Chinese charm with this Daoist inscription earlier than the Manchu-led Qing Dynasty (1644-1911).
This inscription also appears on a rarely seen vase-shaped pendant charm, a lock charm and, a peach charm. |
