Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Picture of a rubbing of an ancient stone tablet at Suiling, Szechwan Province, secured by Rev. Mr. Rodwell and presented by him to the West China Union University Museum. An old banyon tree blew down uncovering, the stone tablet. These are not Chinese characters, and it is suggested that this is a script which was used by the aboriginese who lived in Szechwan before the arrival of the Chinese. Picture extracted from Journal of the West China Border Research Society (vol. V; 1932), between page 152 and page 153.
