English: Royal Netherlands Navy frigate Hr.Ms. De Ruyter (F804), German Navy frigate Rheinland-Pfalz (F209), Royal Canadian Navy frigate HMCS Charlottetown (FFH 339) and Spanish frigate Alvaro de Bazan (F-101) patrol in the western Mediterranean Sea on 1 April 2012. For more than two months, the ships patrolled the sea lanes of communications, reassured seafarers, denied terrorist room for maneuver at sea, acted as a deterrent force and observed and detailed patterns at sea. |
