Summary
[edit]DescriptionRowley's House, Shrewsbury - geograph.org.uk - 116389.jpg |
English: Rowley's House, Shrewsbury. This is a remarkably large 16C house, now housing a museum. It was in a derelict state in 1930, and hemmed in by other old buildings that were to be demolished to make way for a car park. It was saved and restored, and divides the car park into two parts, with a linking passageway through the building. Attached at the rear there is a brick house of 1618, Rowley's Mansion. |
