| Description |
English: Row of shops, Main Street, Heysham This includes a café, Sam's Kabin. The little house to the left was built in the early to mid-18C, and is easily overlooked, being set back from the 19C building line. The listing details suggest that it might be the surviving part of a larger house, as it has quoins only on the right-hand side; also that the eaves and the first-floor window surround have been raised at some time as there is a change in the type of stonework. |
