Map showing the route of what began in 1877 as the Metropolitan Street Railway. In 1904, it became part of the transportation empire run by Sir William Mackenzie, "Canada's Railway King" as operated for the next 26 years as the Toronto and York Radial Railway. It was partially revived under new ownership later that same year.
