[edit]DescriptionRoutemaster coach RMC1461 (461 CLT), London buses route 8, Wick Lane, Bow, 4 June 2004.jpg |
English: Preserved Routemaster coach RMC1461 (reg. 461 CLT) operating London Buses route 8. The bus is pictured heading east in Bow, East London, on the final part of the route. Having come along Tredegar Lane, it is now on the Wick Lane over-pass of the north-south BlackWall Tunnel Northern Approach road (the A12), intending to turn right onto the slip road to join the A12 for a short journey south, before turning right again to head west along the Bow Road (the A11), to terminate at Bow Church. RMC1461 was being used on this day to mark the end of (red) Routemaster operation on the route (see closeup image of the bus for further details of its history and appearance.) |
