| Description |
English: Rotten Row - above Buckton Cliffs, Buckton, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. There is no official footpath running along the cliff tops from Bridlington, via Flamborough Head, and on to Filey. This is a grave omission as the route is quite spectacular, the only difficulties arising near the disused Butlins camp, as the cliff route is fenced and barred in a most unfriendly manner, and the alternative route along beach is impassable at high tide. However, as far as Speeton Cliffs the route is very walkable. On OS maps, the path above Buckton Cliffs is called "Rotten Row". A glimpse of Filey beach is captured in the photograph. |
