Summary
[edit]DescriptionRossiya-303 radio receiver (inside).jpg |
English: This fully functional Rossiya-303 radio, made since 1974 (this unit made in 1981 or later), was found in a heap of trash. Right, the AM bands are dead and no prospects of recovery, ever. The speaker, indeed, is mounted at an odd angle - to gain some space for the mounting posts that carry the PCB. The speaker is fixed with two protruding mounting brackets, here obstructed by the PCB. There were no corner screws.
The grey tube-type precision ceramic capacitors were mounted upright, and enclosed in white protective tubes.
Ferrite rod antenna for LW and MW
Short wave zoom tuning cap
Reference to the 1978 standard sets the manufacture date. A further look at components moves it to 1981 (at least) or 1982. Actually, all the visible dates are very tight, 02.81 to 05.81.
