Summary
[edit]DescriptionRosneath Point and Faslane - geograph.org.uk - 1421566.jpg |
English: Rosneath Point and Faslane The Clyde is in the foreground with Rosneath Point and the Gareloch beyond. Her Majesty's Naval Base Clyde (commonly known as simply "Faslane") is prominent despite the 10 miles distance from the viewpoint which is above the east end of Greenock, thus giving an idea of the scale of that base.
The "Arrochar Alps" dominate the horizon. |
