DescriptionRosko Brilliant 620 Model 2.jpg |
c1955. The full name of this camera is actually "Rosko Brilliant 620 Model 2", but I suspect there never was a model 1. From the Japanese company Goyo, the Rosko is a pseudo-TLR for 6x6cm exposures on 620 film. It's got a fixed-focus lens, I&B shutter speeds and three aperture choices. This camera really caught my eye when I saw it in McKeown's Price Guide two or three years ago, and I've been looking for it ever since. I got lucky and found this one, complete with its flash unit and manual, both in their original boxes. Apparently this is the same camera as the "Palma Brilliant 620 Model 2", though I've never seen one - not even a picture. In fact, the photo of the Rosko in McKeown's is the only photo I've ever seen of one. I'm beginning to think it may be a fairly rare bird. |
