English: Portrait of a young girl (Rosette) with a dog (Dick), a basket and flowers.

Oil on canvas. Height : 60 cm; Width : 40 cm. Collection : Troyes Museum of Art. Museum inventory number : MAH.875.6. The Société académique (which then owned and managed the Troyes Museum of Art) acquired this painting in 1875, soon after the Troyes Salon of 1875 where the painting was on display.

Pauline Laurens (27 May 1850-1 January 1941) was a French painter and printmaker during the Belle Époque. She studied privately with masters such as Charles Joshua Chaplin. She specialised in portraits. She exhibited in the Paris Salon between 1873 and 1884. Most of her work belongs to private art collectors.

Hauteur : 60 cm; Largeur : 40 cm. Huile sur toile. Collections du Musée des Beaux-Arts de Troyes. Numéro d'inventaire : MAH.875.6 Le tableau a été acheté en 1875 par la Société académique, alors propriétaire et gestionnaire du Musée des Beaux-Arts de Troyes, au terme du Salon de Troyes de 1875 où il était exposé.

Pauline Laurens, née le 27 mai 1850 à Paris et morte le 1er janvier 1941 à Paris, est une artiste peintre de la Belle Époque, spécialisée dans les portraits. Elle est connue également pour ses eaux-fortes. Elle expose ses œuvres au salon de Paris tous les ans entre 1873 et 1884. La plupart de ses peintures sont la propriété de collectionneurs privés.
