PRINCESS ADELAIDE. (Moss Rose.)Moss roses are distinguished from all others by the moss-like substance which surrounds the flowers, and a peculiar scentwhich is not easy to describe on paper. Nearly every onewants two or three of these in a collection for the flowers aremuch sought after while in bud for boquets. PrincessAdelaide is one of the best in this color and is beautiful eitherin bud or fully expanded flower. Prune rather closely andremove all weakly shoots and give high culture.

Stt<#<r,£4p (bfcc4,,.\:r WHITE MOSS. (White Bath.) Moss Roses are a favorite with everyone, on account oftheir beautiful buds, which for bouquets and cut flowers areinvaluable. As a class, they are rather more subject tomildew than some others, and therefore, need high cultureand rather close pruning. Nothing so soon responds to thisgenerous treatment which ma)- be seen in the increasednumber and size of the flowers. All are hardy, but in ex-posed sections are been benefitted by protection in winter.
