Description
Deutsch: Linke Ofenplatte mit dem Motiv der Kindheit Jesu, aus dem Manderscheider Bibelzyklus. Lins oben befindet sich die Darstellung des 40 Tage alten Jesuskinds im Tempel auf dem Schoß des Symeons. Links davon Maria und Josef. Auch die rechts davon befindliche Darstellung bezieht sich auf das Lukasevengelium. Sie zeigt den 12-jährigen Jesus im Tempel unter den Schriftgelehrten. Darunter befindet sich - in der Mitte der Ofeplatte - eine Darstellung der Anbetung der Heiligen Drei Könige. Den untersten Teil der Platte bildet eine Textkartusche mit dem Inhalt: "Die Weisen sich verwunderten, das sie solches vom Kind hörten".
