| Description |
Well you wouldn't want to sit on it, but... So called ground cover roses are not much use for supressing weeds because their habit is too open and the thorns make weeding them a nightmare, but they are excellent for growing through and amongst other low sun-loving plants, as here with dwarf Hyssop, Eryngium bourgatii, Irises, Salvia jurisicii and the small Spanish foxglove, Digitalis thapsi. As time goes on the rose should spread, popping up and mingling in with everything else over the whole area. |
