한국어: 안양사지에서 출토된 통일신라 후기~고려초기 수막새로 연꽃을 중앙에 표현하였다. 연꽃은 불교를 상징하는 꽃으로 기와 및 단청, 불화 등 사찰의 많은 부분에 사용되는 문장이며 수막새는 절의 건물 지붕 가장 끝에 달리는 기와로 장식과 더불어 기와가 흘러내리지 않도록 하는 기능도 함께 가지고 있다. 국립중앙박물관이 소장중이다. |
