Summary
[edit]DescriptionRomford bus garage - interior (geograph 7462391).jpg |
English: The garage was opened in 1953 by London Transport and since the privatisation of London's buses that began in 1994 has been owned by companies within the Stagecoach group, its current owners being Stagecoach London. It is sometimes referred to as North Street garage to distinguish it from another London Transport garage that until 1977 was to be found elsewhere in the town. The photo was taken on the occasion of a garage open day celebrating the seventieth year of continuous operation. |
