Description

Description of find

Gold fragment, probably from a small item of jewellery, such as an ear-ring or a pendant. The piece is triangular with distinctive volutes forming turned back wings, and terminates in a small polygonal block. This originally joined with another element, now broken, as is the other end, which is broken and damaged.
