Roman knee brooch
Description
English: Cast copper alloy Roman knee brooch. The brooch has a copper alloy spring held in place by a hook on the reverse of the headplate. The spring has an external chord. The pin is intact. The headplate is oval and from the bottom of it extends an S-shaped bow. The bow is D-shaped in cross-section. The foot has a knopped terminal. The catchplate is intact.
