Description
English: Fragment from an early post-medieval copper-alloy purse bar of LMMC type B3. The terminal and part of the arm survive; the terminal has a globular head with four deep diagonal grooves spiraling from the top to the base, and the arm is sub-circular in cross-section with visible file marks. A complete example can be seen at DENO-846107 and other fragments at YORYM-D51608, LVPL-DBC433 and LEIC-736141. They date from the first half of the 16th century.
