Title
Roman dragonesque brooch
Description
English: An incomplete cast copper-alloy dragonesque brooch of Roman date. The brooch is flat and is roughly S-shaped. One terminal is missing due to old breaks and the other forms the dragon head terminal. The body of the brooch has three rectangular cells with a triangular cell at each end. These would have been filled with enamel and there are traces of blue enamel in two of the rectangular cells. The reverse is flat and undecorated.
