Title
Roman copper-alloy bead
Description
English: A Roman melon bead made of green glass (circa AD 50- AD 200). A hole passes through the centre. The object was found on a field that has produced material suggestive of a sixth century Anglo-Saxon inhumation cemetery, and so it is possible that this bead was reused in the 6th century.
