Roman coin: solidus of Gratian
Description
English: A gold solidus of Gratian (AD 367-383); VICTORIA AVGG reverse; minted at Milan during the mint's fourth period of AD 378-383. Ref: RIC Vol. IX, p. 77, no. 5d.

The coin has little wear but it is slightly bent and scuffed at one point. It measures 20.6mm in diameter, 0.6mm thick and weighs 4.54g.
