Roman coin: sestertius
Description
English: A worn copper-alloy Roman sestertius of Septimius Severus (AD 193-211), probably dating to the period c.AD 195-196 (Reece period 10). Probably [SAECVLI FELICITAS], S C reverse type depicting Felicitas standing left, foot on prow, holding caduceus and cornucopiae. Mint of Rome. Cf. BMC nos. 560passim, 570passim; RIC IV.1, nos. 692, 701, 710-711.
